Tintina Applies for Exploration Decline Approval for its 100% Owned High Grade Black Butte Copper Project, Montana, USA

Vancouver, BC – January 8, 2013 – Tintina Resources Inc. (“Tintina” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: “TAU”; OTCQX: “TINTF”) is pleased to announce it has submitted an amendment to its current Exploration License, for approval to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) for construction of an Exploration Decline at its Black Butte Copper project site (Figure 1). The decline will provide underground ramp access to the Johnny Lee high grade copper deposit.
